CORGI CLASSICS No.9041 1912 Rolls-Royce Silver Ghost Vintage 1966-70

Perhaps Corgi’s response to Matchbox’s Models of Yesteryear. Lovely detailed 1:43 scale models, curtailed by a factory fire in 1969 that ended production.

1912 ROLLS-ROYCE 40/50 HP SILVER GHOST DOUBLE PULLMAN LIMOUSINE with a dark grey chassis and wings, silver bodywork, gold tool boxes on the running boards, gold headlights with jewelled lenses, a chrome radiator surround (with intact Spirit of Ecstasy) and a black radiator grille. Glazing is clear and the interior is brown with a chrome steering wheel. It rolls on gold 10-spoke wheels with rubber tyres (which are cracked and worn). The spare tyre and rim is missing from the roof.
