1159 Corgi Ford Transcontinental Car Transporter

This is the deep metallic blue version, with red interior and cream / blue trailer.
Looks fantastic in this colour scheme - (in my opinion) sharper than the green version, and a bit more interesting than the red / white.
These are very difficult to find with no paint wear to the moving parts on the trailer, as inevitably using the decks and lowering the top one will damage the paint. This one on the other hand looks to have escaped any damage.
The only minor area of paint loss appears to be to the front of the tractor unit cab - however I doubt this model has ever been played with.
The box is nice and square, showing some corner wear and the acetate window has a few creases and tears. This is a very very heavy model and it's not fixed in position - it just sits in place on the polystyrene inner plinth. A replacement window would give you one of the best examples of this model.
Searching for a long time will not turn up many that are better than this. Even the area where the trailer joins the tractor unit appears to be fully painted (this wears off with too much use).
