One of the last models to be issued with a friction motor, this Ford Thunderbird was not as popular as the non-mechanical models and production was not maintained for more than a year or so. It is now quite a scarce model to find, especially in good condition.
The pink paintwork tends to show even small marks in an exaggerated way and this has aged and shows wear along mainly the sides and marks to the roof.
This is a totally original model, with clean and clean windows and nice wheels and tyres. The motor works fairly well.
These will always be desirable and should be a good investment. These are photos of the actual model you are buying. Remember that these toys are around 50 years old!
I have more available at my own website - just enter corgi.toys in your browser - where you can view full details and discounted prices. These include several other 211M models in varying conditions as well as the scarce 214 without 1959 inscribed at the rear and the late 214 model with shaped wheels and some in original boxes.
