Released in 2007, the 3rd generation R35 GT-R sold for 15 years, making it a uniquely long-selling model for a Japanese car. With continual improvements during its production lifetime, it matured with each year.

In March 2023, Nissan announced the 2024 model would be the fully evolved form of the R35 GT-R. Specifically, this encapsulated total vehicle balance with newly designed aero parts delivering improved aerodynamic performance. A new muffler structure reduced noise and vibration, but still produced that comforting powerful exhaust note.
